Looks good, but. . .
"Looks beautifully stylish, came with a slight patina of the buttoned areas of the leather. However, the rest of the leather was very shiny, "squeaky", and seemed dry and easily cracked. I then obtained some high quality lanolin and beeswax based leather conditioner, and lathered it on, with great improvement in the look and feel of the leather. I would suggest that the leather should be much better conditioned by the manufacturer. Then, when we used the bed for the first time, we found that the spring mattress is thin and compresses almost completely with even small adults lying on it, and the springs can be felt through the minimal padding. I am now replacing the mattress with a trifold foam/latex one, at some expense. Given the cost, one would have expected both aspects to be better. However, having fixed the issues, I love the look and structural quality of the sofa bed, and it's a very comfortable sofa."
