To achieve this finish, a brass product is lightly linished on a polishing wheel before a clear satin lacquer is applied to the surface. their Satin Brass hardware can be effortlessly paired with your other kitchen and bathroom fittings, creating seamless looks or standing out as a bold statement piece.  Care: Clean it regularly with a damp soft cloth and be sure to keep it dry. Caution: Take care not to damage the lacquer layer. This finish is not suitable for coastal areas, as exposure to salt air can likely cause tarnishing. TradCo hardware is manufactured from solid brass, a material commonly used in architectural hardware. Brass does not rust, however it can change in appearance over time when exposed to outdoor environments, depending on the finish. Many TradCo finishes include a lacquered, electroplated or powder-coated protective layer designed to slow this natural ageing process. The rate and nature of this change vary depending on the finish type, level of exposure and environmental conditions.
