Schots doors are designed with an engineered paulownia core to prevent warping and bowing of the door. They then have an MDF veneer applied over the core to give an even finish for priming. Be advised that these doors should only be used internally and a maximum of 10mm can be removed from each edge of the door. Prior to hanging, your doors should be lightly sanded and then painted on all 6 faces to protect the door from moisture when hanging.
